Description
A 12-inch industrial-style pendant from the Crown Point Collection, finished in satin nickel with a light smoke deco swirl glass shade - ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Crown Point Collection brings an industrial take on modern sophistication, featuring cylindrical glass set in an updated restoration-style frame with intricate knurling detail on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The hand-blown glass shade in a light smoke deco swirl adds a vintage touch, while the satin nickel finish keeps it contemporary. This pendant hangs on a 120-inch cord that can be cut to your desired length, and it's sloped ceiling compatible.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and dining tables, hung 30-36 inches above the surface for focused task lighting
- Breakfast nooks and counter-height bars, providing warm ambient light
- Living rooms and home offices, used as a statement piece over a reading nook or desk
- Entryways and hallways, adding a touch of industrial elegance
- Covered patios and sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord length - the cord can be cut, but the minimum hanging height is 11.75 inches
- Primary lighting for large rooms - a single 100-watt bulb provides accent or ambient light, not full-room illumination
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to about 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent, which is bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. If you use an LED bulb, you can achieve similar brightness with lower wattage. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the light level to suit the mood.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb, which mimics traditional incandescent light and flatters skin tones and warm interiors. The light smoke deco swirl glass diffuses the light, creating a soft, ambient effect with a hint of vintage character. The fixture is dimmable, so you can easily adjust the brightness.
Sizing and fit
This pendant measures 12 inches in diameter and 11.75 inches in height, with an adjustable hanging height from 11.75 to 128.75 inches thanks to the 120-inch cord. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It's suitable for most ceiling heights, and the sloped ceiling adapter allows installation on angled ceilings. The fixture weighs 6 pounds.
