Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. This fixture accepts one medium-base (E26) bulb up to 60W (or LED equivalent). With a typical 60W incandescent, expect about 800 lumens - enough for ambient lighting in a small to medium room. For a softer glow, use a 40W bulb (around 450 lumens).
Light color and feel
