How bright is it?

Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a recommended 60W equivalent ST64 LED bulb (about 800 lumens), it provides ample task lighting for a kitchen island or ambient light for a dining area. Using a lower-wattage bulb (40W, ~450 lumens) creates a softer accent glow.

Light color and feel

The clear glass shade and exposed vintage bulb produce a warm, incandescent-like glow. For a classic look, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a soft evening ambiance.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. The fixture requires one medium base (E26) ST64 vintage-style bulb (not included).

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The fixture itself is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs. Use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer (e.g., Lutron or Leviton).

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? Yes, it is UL and ETL listed for damp locations, so it can be used in bathrooms (away from direct water spray) or covered outdoor areas.

Can I use a different shade? Yes, the Cone collection is part of the Edison system, which allows you to swap shades with other compatible glass or metal shades from the Franklin and Ballston collections (sold separately).
