How bright is it?

Lumen output depends on the bulb chosen. The fixture accepts one medium-base (E26) bulb up to 60W incandescent equivalent (or LED/CFL equivalent). With a typical 60W LED bulb, expect 800-900 lumens - enough for task lighting over a small table or island, but not sufficient as a sole light source for a large room.

Light color and feel

The clear glass shade provides unobstructed light, making the bulb's color temperature the primary influence. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K bulb. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
