Lumen output depends on the bulb used. The fixture accepts one medium-base (E26) bulb up to 60W (or LED equivalent). With a typical 60W incandescent, expect about 800 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a small table or island, but not a primary room light. For a softer glow, use a 40W bulb (450 lumens).

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is damp-rated, so it can be used in covered outdoor areas or bathrooms away from direct water spray, but not in wet locations.
