How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. The fixture accepts one medium-base (E26) bulb up to 60W (or LED equivalent). With a standard 60W incandescent, expect about 800 lumens—enough for task lighting over a small island or ambient light in a nook. For dimmer accent light, use a 40W bulb (approx. 450 lumens).
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, slightly reflective glow. Pair with a 2700K-3000K warm white LED bulb for a cozy, vintage-inspired ambiance. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are sold separately. A ST64 vintage-style bulb is recommended for the best look.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The fixture is dimmable when used with a standard incandescent or LED dimmer and compatible dimmable bulbs.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for damp locations, so it can be used in covered outdoor areas or bathrooms without direct water exposure, but not in wet locations or directly above a shower.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
