Description
A polished nickel semi-flush mount with a hand-blown clear deco swirl glass shade, ideal for kitchens, dining rooms, and entryways.
The Chelsea collection brings timeless sophistication with its delicate fluted glass shade. The graceful curves of the glass create a soft, ambient glow, adding refinement to any space. The polished nickel finish and clear glass blend classic style with contemporary appeal, making it a versatile choice for modern and transitional interiors.
Best for
- Kitchens over a sink or island, providing ambient light without obstructing sightlines
- Dining rooms, mounted above a table to create a warm, inviting atmosphere
- Entryways and foyers, offering a welcoming glow
- Hallways and corridors with 8-foot ceilings or higher
- Bedrooms as a central ceiling light, especially in rooms with lower ceilings
Not ideal for
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces requiring a flush mount with a smaller profile, as this fixture extends 20.5 inches from the ceiling
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, if you prefer a sealed fixture
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1600 lumens, comparable to a traditional 100W bulb. It provides ample ambient light for medium-sized rooms, but for task lighting, consider additional fixtures.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shade allows the bulb's natural light to shine through, creating a bright and airy feel. If you use a warm white LED (2700K-3000K), the light will have a soft, golden tone that flatters skin and warm interiors. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 8 inches in diameter and 20.5 inches in height, with a canopy of 4.88 inches. It is best suited for rooms with at least 8-foot ceilings. The fixture is hardwired and requires partial assembly.
