Description
An 8-inch semi-flush mount with a mercury deco swirl glass shade and brushed brass finish, perfect for entryways and dining rooms.
The Chelsea collection features a delicate, fluted glass shade that exudes timeless sophistication. The graceful curves of the glass create a soft, ambient glow, adding a touch of refinement to any space. The brushed brass canopy and metal frame complement the glass, making it a versatile choice for industrial, modern, and transitional interiors.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers with 8-foot ceilings, providing a warm welcome
- Dining rooms with a small table, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Hallways and corridors where a compact fixture is needed
- Bedrooms and sitting areas that need soft ambient light
- Covered porches or patios, as it is damp-rated
Not ideal for
- Large open rooms that need a lot of light, as this is a single-bulb fixture
- Sloped ceilings, as it is not adaptable
- Areas with direct water exposure, as it is only damp-rated
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces about 1600 lumens - similar to a standard 100W bulb. This is suitable for accent or ambient lighting, not as a primary light for large spaces.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a gentle glow with a vintage character.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 8 inches in diameter and 20.5 inches in height, with a canopy of 4.88 inches. It is designed for flat ceilings only and requires partial assembly.
