Description
A graceful 8-inch semi-flush mount with a fluted mercury deco swirl glass shade, finished in brushed satin nickel - perfect for kitchens, dining rooms, and entryways.
The Chelsea collection features delicate, fluted glass shades that exude timeless sophistication. The graceful curves of the glass create a soft, ambient glow, adding a touch of refinement to any space. The brushed satin nickel finish complements both classic and contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Kitchens with 8-10 ft ceilings, providing ambient light over a sink or island
- Dining rooms with a small table, as a warm accent light
- Entryways and foyers, mounted at a height that clears the door swing
- Hallways and corridors, spaced evenly for even illumination
- Bedrooms with low ceilings, as a space-saving flush mount
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large rooms over 12x12 ft where you need bright, primary lighting - this is an accent fixture
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to about 1600 lumens - similar to a traditional 100W bulb. It's suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium spaces, but not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
The mercury deco swirl glass shade diffuses light into a soft, warm glow. The color temperature depends on the bulb you choose - for a warm, inviting feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8 inches wide by 20.5 inches high, with a 4.88-inch round canopy. It fits well in rooms with 8-foot ceilings, providing a low-profile look. The fixture is hardwired and requires partial assembly.
