Description
An 8-inch semi-flush mount with a fluted seedy glass shade and antique copper frame, ideal for kitchens, dining rooms, and entryways.
The Chelsea semi-flush mount features a delicate, fluted glass shade that exudes timeless sophistication. The graceful curves of the glass create a soft, ambient glow, adding a touch of refinement to any space. The antique copper finish adds warmth and pairs beautifully with the seedy glass texture.
Best for
- Kitchens over islands or sinks, providing warm ambient light for cooking and gathering
- Dining rooms with 8-10 ft ceilings, as a central light above the table
- Entryways and foyers, making a welcoming first impression
- Hallways and corridors with 8-10 ft ceilings, adding character and light
- Covered porches or bathrooms with damp-rated installation (UL damp rated)
Not ideal for
- Large open living rooms over 15x15 ft - the 8-inch size may feel undersized
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain - damp rated, not wet rated
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (or equivalent LED), typically producing 800-1600 lumens - enough for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms, not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The seedy glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a gentle, ambient effect. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 8"(L) x 8"(W) x 20.5"(H). The compact size suits rooms with lower ceilings, and the flush mount design keeps clearance minimal. Canopy is 4.88" diameter.
