Description
A compact semi-flush mount with a hand-blown fluted glass shade, ideal for kitchens, dining rooms, and entryways.
The Chelsea semi-flush mount features a delicate, fluted glass shade that exudes timeless sophistication. The graceful curves of the glass create a soft, ambient glow, adding a touch of refinement to any space. Finished in brushed brass, this fixture blends classic style with contemporary appeal.
Best for
- Kitchens with 8-10 ft ceilings, providing ambient light over a sink or prep area
- Dining rooms, hung above a table or buffet for warm, inviting illumination
- Entryways and hallways, mounted at standard height to welcome guests
- Bedrooms with lower ceilings, offering a space-saving lighting solution
- Covered patios or porches, as it is damp-rated for humid environments
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large rooms needing bright, task-level lighting, as it is a single-bulb fixture
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1600 lumens, comparable to a traditional 100W bulb. It provides ample ambient light for medium-sized rooms, but for task lighting, consider supplemental fixtures.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fluted glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a cozy atmosphere. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 8 inches wide and 20.5 inches high, making it suitable for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture extends 20.5 inches from the ceiling. It is not sloped ceiling adaptable.
