Description
An 8-inch mini pendant with a fluted smoke glass shade in satin gold, ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Chelsea mini pendant features delicate, fluted glass that exudes timeless sophistication. The graceful curves of the glass create a soft, ambient glow, adding a touch of refinement to any space. The satin gold finish and smoke glass blend classic style with contemporary appeal, making it a versatile choice for modern and transitional interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for even task lighting
- Dining rooms, providing a warm glow over the table
- Entryways and hallways, adding a refined accent
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp rating
- Bedrooms as a bedside pendant, if placed off to the side
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination - this is a mini pendant with a single 100W bulb
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord length
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to about 1600 lumens - similar to a traditional 100W bulb. It's bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table, but not for lighting an entire large room.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fluted glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambiance. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 8 inches wide and 20 inches high, with an adjustable hanging length from 23.88 to 140.88 inches using the included 120-inch cord. It works well over kitchen islands and dining tables with standard 8-9 foot ceilings. The cord can be cut to the desired length, and it is sloped ceiling compatible.
