The Caton collection combines heavy cast components with a sleek, contemporary silhouette. This island light features a brushed brass finish and frosted pyramid glass shades, offering a warm, diffused glow that complements Art Nouveau, industrial, restoration-vintage, and transitional décor styles. With a damp location rating, it's suitable for kitchens and covered areas.

How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. The fixture accepts four medium-base (E26) bulbs, up to 60W each (or LED equivalent). With four 60W incandescent bulbs, expect about 3200 lumens—bright enough to illuminate a large kitchen island or dining table. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage or dimmable bulbs.
Light color and feel
The frosted glass shades diffuse light evenly, reducing glare and creating a warm ambiance. Bulb color temperature is your choice—3000K warm white for a cozy feel, or 4000K for a crisper task light. The fixture is compatible with dimmable bulbs and a standard dimmer switch for adjustable brightness.

Are bulbs included? No, bulbs are not included. We recommend four ST64-shaped medium-base bulbs (not included).
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The fixture is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer rated for the total wattage.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for damp locations, so it can be used in covered outdoor areas or kitchens, but not in direct rain or wet areas like a shower.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
