Description
A cone-shaped mini pendant from Innovations Lighting's Caden Collection, finished in brushed satin nickel with a light smoke glass shade - perfect for industrial, farmhouse, and transitional interiors.
Caden reveals industrial inspiration with exposed fittings but takes a more modern approach in design. The clean lines and dramatic styling makes Caden a perfect fit for any design. The hand-blown glass shade in light smoke softens the light and adds a touch of sophistication. With a 120-inch cord that can be cut to length, this pendant adapts to a variety of ceiling heights and spaces.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung 28-34 inches above the counter for focused task lighting
- Dining rooms, grouped in pairs or threes over a farmhouse table for a dramatic statement
- Entryways and foyers with high ceilings, using the adjustable cord to create a welcoming glow
- Covered patios and porches - UL/CUL damp rated, so it can handle humidity and light moisture
- Living rooms and reading nooks, hung low over a side table or chair for ambient light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - while damp-rated, it is not wet-rated for spray
- Large rooms needing bright, general illumination - this is an accent light, not a primary light source
- Low ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord - the cord can be cut, but the fixture is designed for hanging
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it is rated for a 100W incandescent bulb. With a standard 60W bulb, expect around 800 lumens - enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. For a brighter effect, use an LED bulb with higher lumens.
Light color and feel
The light smoke glass shade diffuses the light, creating a soft, warm glow. The color temperature depends on the bulb you choose - for a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K-3000K bulb. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The shade measures 7.75 inches in diameter and 6 inches high, with an overall fixture height of 11.13 inches. The included 120-inch cord allows hanging heights from 14.88 to 131.88 inches, making it suitable for rooms with standard to very high ceilings. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter, and the fixture is sloped ceiling compatible.
