Description
A 5-inch mini pendant with a bell-shaped seedy glass shade, finished in polished nickel, for kitchen islands and dining nooks.
The Caden pendant brings industrial inspiration with exposed fittings, but its clean lines and dramatic styling take a more modern approach. The hand-blown seedy glass shade diffuses light beautifully, while the polished nickel metal frame adds a refined touch. This fixture is a versatile choice for a variety of design styles, from farmhouse to nautical.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task lighting over a 6-8 ft counter
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing ambient light over a table
- Entryways and hallways, adding a touch of industrial charm
- Coffee bars and home bars, creating a focused pool of light
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 120-inch cord length
- Large rooms needing primary illumination - this is a mini pendant, best for accent or task lighting
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect roughly 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a counter or table.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified, but it is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood. The seedy glass shade creates a warm, diffused glow that flatters any space.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 5.25 inches in diameter and 11.13 inches in height, with an adjustable hanging height from 14.88 to 131.88 inches thanks to the 120-inch cord. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is sloped ceiling compatible, making it versatile for various ceiling types.
