Description
A compact industrial mini pendant with an oil rubbed bronze finish and seedy glass shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Caden pendant from the Canton Collection brings industrial inspiration with exposed fittings, yet its clean lines and dramatic styling give it a modern edge. The hand-blown seedy glass shade diffuses light beautifully, while the oil rubbed bronze metal frame adds a vintage touch. This pendant is versatile enough for a range of interiors, from farmhouse to nautical.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task lighting
- Dining rooms, providing ambient light over a table
- Entryways and foyers, adding a warm welcome
- Coffee bars and reading nooks, offering focused illumination
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces with low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount, as this pendant hangs from a cord
- Areas where you need bright, focused task lighting, as it is best for ambient or accent light
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to about 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. It's suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms, but for task-heavy areas like a kitchen prep zone, consider pairing with additional lighting.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The seedy glass shade softens and diffuses the light, reducing glare and creating a cozy atmosphere. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 5.25 inches wide and 11.13 inches high, with an adjustable hanging height from 14.88 to 131.88 inches thanks to the 120-inch cord. It is sloped ceiling compatible, making it versatile for various ceiling types. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter.
