Description
A 5-inch mini pendant with a hand-blown light smoke glass bell shade and antique brass fittings, built for kitchen islands and dining nooks.
The Caden Bell pendant takes industrial cues - exposed fittings, a cord hang, a round canopy - and softens them with a hand-blown glass shade in a light smoke finish. The antique brass frame adds warmth, while the bell shape gives it a farmhouse feel. It hangs on a 120-inch cord you can cut to fit your ceiling height.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row or solo for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, centered over a table for a warm focal point
- Entryways and stairwells with sloped ceilings - the cord adapts to angles
- Coffee bars and reading nooks needing a compact, characterful light
- Covered patios and porches - rated for damp locations
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp rated, but not wet rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord - it can be cut, but plan for the minimum hang of about 15 inches
- Primary task lighting for large rooms - a single 100W bulb is accent-scale
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it takes one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) - roughly 1600 lumens if you use a standard 100W bulb, enough for ambient light over a small island or table. For a brighter feel, use an LED equivalent.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. The light smoke glass shade diffuses light softly, casting a gentle, smoky glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood from bright and functional to warm and intimate.
Sizing and fit
The shade is 5 inches in diameter and 5.75 inches high, with an overall fixture height of 11.13 inches. The cord extends to 120 inches, giving a maximum hang of about 131.88 inches and a minimum of 14.88 inches. The canopy is 4.5 inches round. Works well over islands up to 6 feet long or tables up to 48 inches wide.
