Description
A compact 8-inch mini pendant with a polished nickel metal frame and matte white glass globe, ideal for kitchen islands and dining nooks.
The Caden Beacon mini pendant combines industrial inspiration with a modern, clean-lined design. The polished nickel finish offers a sleek, reflective look, while the matte white glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm ambiance. This fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for covered patios and bathrooms, and it hangs from a 120-inch cord that can be cut to your desired length.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for a focal point
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Entryways and hallways, adding a touch of industrial charm
- Breakfast bars and peninsulas, providing focused light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Low ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 16.38 inches
- Spaces requiring a flush mount, as this is a pendant
How bright is it?
This fixture is rated for one 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect around 1600 lumens, similar to a bright reading lamp. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or vintage-style bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K bulb, which emits a soft yellow-white light that flatters skin tones and wood finishes. The matte white glass shade diffuses light, reducing glare and creating a soft, even glow.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 8 inches wide by 12.63 inches high, with an adjustable hanging height from 16.38 to 133.38 inches thanks to the 120-inch cord. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is sloped-ceiling compatible, making it versatile for various ceiling types.
