Description
An 8-inch wide, 1-light mini pendant in brushed brass with a seedy glass shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Caden Beacon mini pendant reveals industrial inspiration with exposed fittings but takes a modern approach. The clean lines and dramatic styling make it a perfect fit for various designs. The brushed brass finish and seedy glass shade create a vintage yet contemporary look.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of 2-3 for task lighting
- Dining areas, hung over a small table or breakfast bar
- Entryways and foyers, adding a warm welcome
- Coffee bars or sideboards, providing focused light
- Covered patios or sunrooms, as it is damp-rated
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing primary lighting - this is a single accent light
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a long drop - the cord can be cut to length
How bright is it?
With one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1000 lumens if using a 100W equivalent LED bulb. That's bright enough for task lighting over a small area. For a softer ambiance, use a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer switch.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. The seedy glass shade diffuses light with a soft, vintage glow. The color temperature depends on the bulb you choose - warm white (2700K-3000K) is recommended for a cozy feel.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 8 inches deep, 8 inches wide, and 12.63 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 16.38 to 133.38 inches using the included 120-inch cord, which can be cut to the desired length. It is sloped ceiling compatible. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter.
