Description
An 8-inch mini pendant with a hand-blown seedy glass globe shade and antique brass metal fittings, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Caden Beacon mini pendant offers industrial inspiration with a modern twist. The antique brass finish and seedy glass globe shade create a textured, vintage look that suits industrial, restoration-vintage, and traditional interiors. With a 120-inch adjustable cord, it provides focused lighting over counters and tables, adding character and warmth.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung 28-34 inches above the counter for task lighting
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, clustered in pairs or threes over a table
- Entryways and hallways, providing a warm welcome and visual interest
- Covered porches and sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Reading nooks and home offices, as a focused accent light
Not ideal for
- Large open rooms needing primary illumination - this is a single 100W fixture, best for accent or task lighting
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, avoid wet areas
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord length
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a 100W incandescent bulb (not included) - roughly 1600 lumens if using a standard 100W bulb, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. This is suitable for task and accent lighting, not as a sole room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified, but with a recommended ST64 bulb, you can choose warm white (2700K-3000K) for a cozy, vintage glow. The seedy glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust brightness and mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8 inches wide by 8 inches deep by 12.63 inches high. The adjustable cord allows a minimum height of 16.38 inches and a maximum of 133.38 inches. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. This mini pendant suits most ceiling heights and can be used on sloped ceilings.
