Description
A 6-inch mini pendant from the Beacon Collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with a matte white glass globe, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Caden Beacon mini pendant brings industrial inspiration with exposed fittings, but its clean lines and dramatic styling take a more modern approach. The hand-blown glass shade in matte white diffuses light softly, while the oil rubbed bronze metal frame adds a vintage touch. This fixture is a perfect fit for any design, from farmhouse to traditional.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for a warm, inviting glow
- Breakfast nooks and eat-in kitchens, providing focused light over a counter or table
- Entryways and foyers, adding a statement piece with a vintage-industrial feel
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as the fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord, as the pendant may hang too low
- Rooms where you need a primary light source, as a single 100W bulb provides accent or ambient light, not full-room illumination
How bright is it?
This pendant is rated for one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces about 1600 lumens. That's roughly as bright as a 100W incandescent, ideal for task lighting over a kitchen island or a dining table. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard incandescent or warm LED (2700K-3000K), the light will be warm and inviting, flattering to skin tones and wood finishes. The matte white glass shade diffuses the light, reducing glare and creating a soft, ambient glow. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood from bright and functional to cozy and intimate.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 6 inches in diameter and 10.63 inches in height, with a height range of 14.38 to 131.38 inches thanks to the adjustable 120-inch cord. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is sloped ceiling compatible, making it versatile for various ceiling types. Ideal for kitchen islands, dining tables, or entryways with ceilings at least 8 feet high.
