Description
An 8-inch round, one-light flush mount in matte black with a mercury glass globe, perfect for hallways and entryways.
The Caden Beacon flush mount brings industrial inspiration with exposed fittings and a modern twist. The matte black metal canopy contrasts beautifully with the hand-blown mercury glass globe, creating a dramatic yet clean look. It's a versatile fixture that fits a range of decor styles.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with low ceilings, providing ambient light
- Bedrooms and living rooms, as a stylish ceiling light
- Damp locations such as covered porches or bathrooms with ventilation
- Spaces with industrial, restoration-vintage, or traditional decor
- Kitchens and dining areas, adding a vintage-industrial accent
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain, as it is only damp-rated
- Large rooms needing bright, primary lighting, as this is accent-oriented
- Sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included), producing up to 1600 lumens. That's comparable to a standard 100-watt bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass globe diffuses light softly, creating a gentle glow. The fixture is dimmable with compatible bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 8 inches in diameter and 12.75 inches in height. It mounts flush to the ceiling with a 4.5-inch canopy. It is not sloped ceiling adaptable, so it requires a flat ceiling.
