Description
A compact 6-inch flush mount ceiling light with a mercury glass globe, perfect for small spaces like closets, hallways, and powder rooms.
The Caden flush mount from Innovations Lighting brings industrial inspiration with exposed fittings, but its clean lines and modern styling make it versatile for any decor. The hand-blown mercury glass globe adds a vintage touch, while the brushed satin nickel canopy keeps it contemporary. This fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for bathrooms and covered porches.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Bedrooms, especially over nightstands or dressers, for a soft, warm glow
- Bathrooms with vanities, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Covered porches or patios, where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Kitchens with islands or breakfast nooks, as a secondary light source
Not ideal for
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large rooms needing bright, task-oriented lighting, as this is a single-bulb fixture
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain, as it is only damp-rated, not wet-rated
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. For a softer, more energy-efficient option, an LED bulb of equivalent brightness is recommended. This is suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting atmosphere, select a 2700K-3000K bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light, creating a soft, even glow that flatters skin tones and complements warm wood and neutral palettes.
Sizing and fit
This flush mount measures 6 inches in diameter and 10.75 inches in height, making it ideal for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is designed for hardwired installation and requires partial assembly.
