Description
A 6-inch industrial flush mount ceiling light with an oil rubbed bronze finish and a mercury glass globe, ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and covered porches.
The Caden Beacon flush mount from Innovations Lighting brings industrial character to modern interiors. Its exposed fittings and hand-blown mercury glass shade create a dramatic, vintage-inspired look. The oil rubbed bronze metal canopy and globe-shaped glass shade make it a versatile choice for a variety of design styles.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light and a stylish focal point
- Bedrooms and living rooms, mounted on the ceiling to add a warm, industrial accent
- Covered porches and patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Kitchens and dining areas, as a decorative flush mount over a table or island
- Bathrooms and powder rooms, where a damp-rated fixture is needed
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain or moisture, as it is only damp-rated
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings, as it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces requiring bright, task-level illumination, as it is designed for ambient light
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100-watt bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1600 lumens if you use a 100W equivalent LED bulb, which is comparable to a traditional 100-watt incandescent. This is suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms, but not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a gentle, ambient effect that flatters any space.
Sizing and fit
This flush mount measures 6 inches in diameter and 10.75 inches in height. It is designed for standard 8-foot ceilings and requires a minimum ceiling height of about 8 feet. The fixture is hardwired and mounts directly to the ceiling.
