Description
A 6-inch flush mount ceiling light with a satin gold metal canopy and a hand-blown mercury glass globe, made for hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces with lower ceilings.
The Caden Beacon flush mount brings industrial inspiration into a modern, clean-lined design. Its exposed fittings and dramatic styling make it a versatile choice for a range of interiors. The satin gold finish and mercury glass shade add a vintage touch, while the compact size fits snugly against the ceiling.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Bedrooms, mounted above a dresser or beside a closet for soft, warm illumination
- Dining nooks or breakfast areas where a low-profile fixture is needed
- Covered porches or sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Industrial or restoration-style interiors that appreciate exposed hardware and hand-blown glass
Not ideal for
- Large living rooms or open-concept spaces that need a primary light source - this is an accent fixture
- Sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, if you prefer a fully enclosed fixture
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens - bright enough for ambient lighting in a small to medium room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, pair it with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a cozy atmosphere.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 6 inches wide and 10.75 inches high, with a 4.5-inch canopy. It's designed for flush mounting on flat ceilings and is not sloped-ceiling adaptable. Ideal for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings.
