Description
A 12-inch mini pendant from the Beacon collection, finished in matte black with a mercury glass globe, for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Caden Beacon mini pendant brings industrial inspiration with exposed fittings, but its clean lines and dramatic styling take a more modern approach. The hand-blown mercury glass globe adds a vintage touch, while the matte black metal frame keeps it grounded. Perfect for adding focused task lighting over a kitchen island or a warm glow in a dining nook.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for ambient and accent light
- Entryways and hallways, adding a statement piece at 7-8 ft height
- Coffee bars or breakfast nooks, providing focused light over a counter
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, thanks to the 90-degree hang straight swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 30-inch stem length
- Primary room lighting in large living areas - it's a single 100W bulb, best for accent or task
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), it will be bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table, but not for illuminating a large room on its own.
Light color and feel
Color temperature not specified. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow. Dimmable with compatible dimmer and bulb, allowing you to adjust the mood.
