Description
A 12-inch industrial flush mount ceiling light with an antique brass finish and a matte white glass globe, ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and covered porches.
The Caden Beacon flush mount brings industrial inspiration with exposed fittings and a modern, clean-lined silhouette. The antique brass metal canopy and hand-blown matte white glass globe create a dramatic yet versatile look that suits a range of interiors. This fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for bathrooms and covered outdoor areas.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-10 ft ceilings, providing ambient light
- Bedrooms and living rooms as a primary ceiling light
- Bathrooms and covered patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Industrial, modern, or transitional decor styles
Not ideal for
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces requiring a very low-profile light, as it extends 14.5 inches from the ceiling
- Areas with low ceilings under 7 feet, where the 14.5-inch height may feel intrusive
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is rated for 100 watts maximum. With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect around 1600 lumens - bright enough for a medium-sized room. If you prefer lower light, you can use a dimmer or a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. The matte white glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm, inviting glow. For a classic warm feel, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
This flush mount measures 12 inches in diameter and 14.5 inches in height, with a 4.5-inch canopy. It is designed for flat ceilings and requires a minimum ceiling height of about 8 feet for comfortable clearance. The fixture weighs 2.8 lbs and is hardwired.
