- Bedrooms, as a low-profile ceiling light for rooms up to 12x12 ft
- Hallways and corridors, illuminating a 6-10 ft span
- Dining areas, as a soft accent light over a small table
- Living rooms, for supplemental ambient lighting in seating areas
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, as the fixture is not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the fixture hangs 14.5 inches
- Large open rooms over 18x18 ft, as a single fixture may be insufficient
How bright is it?
This fixture is rated for a 100W bulb, but the brightness depends on the bulb used. With a recommended LED bulb, it can provide ample ambient light. The lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 12 inches in diameter and 14.5 inches in height, with a 4.5-inch canopy. It's designed for flush mounting on flat ceilings; it is not sloped ceiling adaptable. The size suits rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
