Description
A 1-light flush mount from the Beacon Collection, finished in matte black with a mercury glass globe shade, ideal for entryways and hallways.
The Caden flush mount takes industrial inspiration with exposed fittings but adds a modern twist. The matte black finish and hand-blown mercury glass shade create a dramatic, vintage look that fits a variety of design styles. Perfect for adding ambient light to smaller spaces.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers, providing a warm welcome
- Hallways and corridors, offering even ambient light
- Bedrooms and living rooms with low ceilings, as it mounts flush to the ceiling
- Dining rooms and kitchens, adding a touch of industrial charm
- Covered porches and sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is rated for damp locations only
- Sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting, as it provides only 100W maximum
How bright is it?
This fixture is rated for a maximum 100W bulb, but the actual brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard 60W incandescent, it provides about 800 lumens, suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you install. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K LED or incandescent bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a gentle glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 10 inches long, 10 inches wide, and 12.5 inches high. The shade is 10 inches in diameter and 10.5 inches high. This flush mount works well in spaces with standard 8-foot ceilings.
