Description
A 12-inch cord mini pendant from the Beacon Collection, finished in matte black with a mercury glass globe shade, for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Caden pendant reveals industrial inspiration with exposed fittings but takes a more modern approach. The clean lines and dramatic styling make it a perfect fit for any design. The hand-blown mercury glass shade adds a vintage, reflective quality.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting over a 6-8 ft island
- Dining rooms, centered over a 36-48 in table for ambient light
- Breakfast nooks and small eat-in kitchens
- Entryways and hallways, providing a warm welcome
- Covered patios and porches, as it is damp-rated
Not ideal for
- Large living rooms or open-plan spaces needing high brightness - this is an accent light, not a primary source
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, not wet-rated
How bright is it?
Lumen output depends on the bulb used; compatible with up to 100W incandescent or equivalent LED. For reference, a 100W incandescent produces about 1600 lumens, which is bright enough for task lighting.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb; choose warm white (2700-3000K) for a cozy feel or cool white for task lighting. Dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
