Description
A 10-inch mini pendant from the Beacon Collection, finished in polished nickel with a seedy glass globe - ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Caden mini pendant brings industrial inspiration with exposed fittings, yet its clean lines and dramatic styling take a modern approach. The hand-blown seedy glass shade diffuses light beautifully, while the polished nickel metal frame adds a refined touch. Perfect for adding focused task lighting or ambient glow in contemporary and transitional spaces.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in multiples for even task lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for intimate meals
- Entryways and foyers, adding a warm welcome
- Living rooms and reading nooks, providing focused illumination
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - although damp-rated, it's best kept away from direct water spray
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord extended
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can deliver up to 1600 lumens - about as bright as a traditional 100W bulb, suitable for task lighting over a kitchen island or ambient light in a dining area. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or the recommended ST64 bulb.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shade creates a warm, diffused light that flatters skin tones and wood finishes. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a cozy evening ambiance. Use a standard dimmer switch for best results.
Sizing and fit
This mini pendant measures 10 inches in diameter and 14.13 inches in height, with an adjustable cord length from 17.88 to 134.88 inches. It's ideal for kitchen islands, dining tables, and entryways with standard 8-10 foot ceilings. The sloped ceiling compatibility adds flexibility for installation on angled ceilings.
