A 1-light mini pendant from the Brookhaven Sphere collection, finished in matte black with an opal glass shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Brookhaven Sphere mini pendant combines industrial-inspired design with modern versatility. Its matte black finish and opal glass shade create a soft, diffused light that complements both contemporary and transitional interiors. Part of the Edison series, this fixture features heavy cast components for a sturdy, transitional look.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms over a small table (up to 48 in), centered for a warm focal point
- Breakfast nooks or counter seating areas, hung 30-36 in above the surface
- Entryways or hallways with 8-9 ft ceilings, used as a single statement pendant
- Covered patios or damp-rated indoor spaces (UL listed for damp locations)
Not ideal for
- Large open-concept rooms where a single mini pendant provides insufficient light coverage
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 20.5 in
- Areas requiring bright task lighting without additional fixtures
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. The fixture accepts one medium-base (E26) bulb up to 60W equivalent (recommended ST64 vintage bulb). With a typical 60W incandescent or 800-lumen LED, it provides ambient light suitable for accent or task areas. For a softer glow, use a 40W equivalent bulb.
Light color and feel
The opal glass shade diffuses light evenly, reducing glare and creating a warm, inviting ambiance. For a warm, incandescent-like feel, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 10.5 in diameter and 11.5 in height, with an adjustable hanging length from 20.5 to 44.5 in (includes 10 ft of wire). The canopy is 4.75 in diameter and 1 in high. Works well over kitchen islands, dining tables, or in entryways with standard 8-9 ft ceilings.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
