Description
A 10-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light with a matte black metal frame and an amber glass globe, ideal for kitchens, hallways, and entryways.
The Brookhaven Sphere brings a touch of industrial vintage charm to any space. Its hand-blown amber glass globe casts a warm, inviting glow, while the matte black canopy and metal accents ground the design in modern industrial style. This fixture fits seamlessly into transitional, modern, and restoration-vintage interiors.
Best for
- Kitchens with 8-10 ft ceilings, providing ambient light over a breakfast nook or island
- Hallways and entryways, mounted at standard height to welcome guests with warm light
- Dining areas, adding a vintage accent above a table
- Living rooms with a cozy, industrial aesthetic
- Bedrooms, as a stylish alternative to a flush mount
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Sloped ceilings - not sloped ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. It's bright enough for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms, but not intended as the sole light source for large spaces.
Light color and feel
The amber glass shade warms the light, creating a cozy, golden glow. For a classic look, use a 2700K-3000K bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright to intimate.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 10 inches wide by 11 inches high, with a 4.88-inch canopy. It's compact enough for low ceilings and small spaces, but still makes a statement.
