Description
An 8-inch, 1-light semi-flush mount in polished nickel with opal glass, ideal for hallways and bedrooms.
The Brookhaven Globe semi-flush mount brings a modern, dynamic look to any space. Its polished nickel finish and opal glass globe create a soft, diffused light that's perfect for ambient illumination. The hand-blown glass and heavy cast canopy add a touch of quality and durability.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways, providing a warm welcome
- Bedrooms, as a central light source with a soft glow
- Dining rooms and living rooms, for ambient lighting
- Damp locations like bathrooms or covered patios (damp-rated)
- Spaces with modern, industrial, or transitional decor
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, task-level lighting (this is ambient)
- Outdoor areas with direct rain exposure (damp-rated, not wet-rated)
- Sloped ceilings (not adaptable)
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces about 1600 lumens. That's equivalent to a 100W incandescent, providing ample ambient light for a medium-sized room.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The opal glass shade diffuses the light, reducing glare and creating a soft, even glow.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 7.88 inches in diameter and 12.5 inches in height. It's designed for ceilings with at least 8 feet of clearance. The flush-mounted design makes it suitable for rooms with lower ceilings.
