Description
A hand-blown slate glass globe mini pendant from Innovations Lighting's Brookhaven collection, finished in brushed satin nickel - ideal for kitchen islands, dining nooks, and entryways.
This mini pendant brings a moody, sophisticated glow to any space. The hand-blown slate glass shade filters light through a dark, smoky tint, while the brushed satin nickel metal canopy and cord keep the look clean and modern. With a 120-inch adjustable cord, it hangs at the perfect height over counters, tables, or desks.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row or solo for focused task lighting
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing warm ambient light over tables
- Entryways and foyers, adding a welcoming glow at eye level
- Home offices and reading nooks, as a focused pendant over a desk or chair
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - while damp-rated, it's not wet-rated for open water spray
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a long drop - the minimum hanging height is about 12 inches
- Primary room lighting in large open-plan areas - it's a single 100W bulb, better for accent or task lighting
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a 100W incandescent bulb (or equivalent LED) - roughly 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. The slate glass will reduce light output somewhat, so it's best for accent or task lighting rather than primary illumination.
Light color and feel
The slate glass shade creates a dim, atmospheric glow with a cool, smoky tint. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness and mood. For best results, use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 7.88 inches wide and 12 inches tall, with a shade that's 7.88 inches in diameter. The cord extends up to 120 inches, so it can hang from ceilings up to 10 feet or more. The canopy is 4.88 inches wide, and the fixture weighs just 3.25 pounds.
