Description
A 7-inch wall sconce from the Brookhaven Flute Collection, finished in brushed brass with an opal glass shade, ideal for bedrooms and hallways.
The Brookhaven Flute sconce brings a dynamic bell-shaped silhouette to your walls. Its brushed brass finish and opal glass shade create a warm, inviting glow that complements a range of decor styles, from industrial to transitional. Hand-blown glass and a heavy cast backplate add a touch of craftsmanship.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading light or ambient accent
- Hallways and corridors, providing soft, even illumination
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork
- Entryways, adding a welcoming glow
- Damp-rated, suitable for bathrooms and covered outdoor areas
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination - this is an accent light
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W bulb, brightness depends on the bulb you choose. An LED bulb can provide 800-1600 lumens, similar to a 60-100W incandescent, but this sconce is best for accent or ambient lighting rather than as a primary light source.
Light color and feel
The opal glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The color temperature depends on the bulb; a 2700K-3000K bulb will give a warm, golden glow that flatters skin tones and wood finishes. Dimmable with compatible bulbs and dimmer switches.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 8 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 11 inches high, with an 8-inch extension from the wall. It suits most wall spaces, including narrow hallways and beside doorways.
