Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung 28-34 inches above the counter
- Dining rooms, providing focused light over a table
- Entryways or foyers, creating a warm welcome
- Coffee bars or serving areas, adding task lighting
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces with low ceilings if you need a long drop - the stem can be adjusted, but the minimum hanging height is about 15 inches
How bright is it?
With a single 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to 1,600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W bulb, ideal for task lighting over a counter or table. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The amber glass shade creates a warm, golden light that adds a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The light color will depend on the bulb you choose; a 2700K-3000K LED bulb will enhance the warm amber tone. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
