Description
A 24-inch three-light semi-flush mount with a bell-shaped slate glass shade, finished in brushed brass for kitchens, hallways, and entryways.
The Brookhaven Flute brings an industrial-modern edge to everyday spaces. Its hand-blown glass shade in a deep slate tone diffuses light softly, while the brushed brass metal frame adds warmth. The heavy cast canopy and flush mount keep the profile low, making it ideal for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchens with islands or breakfast nooks, providing ambient light over a 4-6 ft area
- Hallways and entryways, mounted flush to the ceiling to avoid blocking traffic
- Dining rooms with low ceilings, where a pendant would hang too low
- Bedrooms as a central ceiling light, paired with dimmer for adjustable ambiance
- Covered porches or sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces where you need a directional or task light, as it provides ambient light only
How bright is it?
With three 100W max bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce up to 4500 lumens if using 100W equivalent LED bulbs - bright enough to serve as the primary light in a 12x12 ft room. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage bulbs or a dimmer.
Light color and feel
The slate glass shade softens and warms the light, creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust from bright and functional to a gentle evening glow. The color temperature will depend on the bulbs you choose - warm white (2700K-3000K) complements the brass finish best.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 24.5 inches wide by 16.88 inches high, with a 4.88-inch canopy. The flush mount design works well on 8-foot ceilings, and the 24.5-inch width suits rooms from 8x8 ft up to 12x12 ft. It requires partial assembly and is hardwired.
