Description
A 7-inch wall sconce from the Brookhaven Flute Collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with an amber glass bell shade - perfect for hallways and bedrooms.
This sconce combines a sleek, modern silhouette with vintage-inspired details. The hand-blown amber glass casts a warm, inviting glow, while the heavy cast backplate adds durability and presence. It's a versatile fixture that complements industrial, transitional, and contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Hallways, mounted at eye level to provide ambient lighting and visual interest
- Bedrooms, flanking the bed as reading lights or accent lighting
- Living rooms, highlighting architectural features or artwork
- Staircases, providing light and style along the stairwell
- Bathrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction (away from direct water)
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or moisture - this sconce is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the sconce extends 8 inches from the wall
- Primary task lighting in large rooms - it's best for accent or ambient light
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W bulb (not included), this sconce can provide ample light. The actual brightness depends on the bulb you choose - a 60W incandescent equivalent LED would emit around 800 lumens, suitable for accent lighting.
Light color and feel
The amber glass shade warms the light, creating a cozy, golden glow. It is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance. The fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs, with a T-series shape recommended.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 8 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 11 inches high, with an 8-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high. It is wall-mounted and requires partial assembly.
