Description
A 7-inch wall sconce from the Brookhaven Flute Collection, finished in antique brass with an amber glass bell shade, ideal for bedrooms and hallways.
This sconce brings a dynamic, hand-blown glass shade and a sleek metal frame to a variety of décor styles. The antique brass finish and amber glass create a warm, vintage-inspired look that fits seamlessly in industrial, modern, and transitional interiors. Its compact size makes it a versatile accent light for smaller spaces.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading light or ambient accent
- Hallways and corridors, providing a warm glow along the path
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or console for balanced lighting
- Entryways, adding a welcoming touch above a bench or table
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor areas without protection from rain or moisture
- Spaces where a brighter, primary light source is needed - this is an accent fixture
How bright is it?
This sconce uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood. Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose; with a standard 100W bulb, expect around 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional living room lamp.
Light color and feel
The amber glass shade warms the light, creating a cozy, golden glow that flatters skin tones and complements wood and brass interiors. The fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs, so you can choose a color temperature that fits your space.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 11 inches high, with an 8-inch extension from the wall. The backplate measures 4.5 inches wide by 6.25 inches high. This sconce works well in rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings and can be mounted vertically.
