Description
A 7-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light with an antique brass metal frame and an opal glass shade, ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and other spaces with lower ceilings.
The Brookhaven Cloche collection brings a modern industrial touch to your home. This fixture features a sleek cylindrical opal glass shade that diffuses light beautifully, paired with an antique brass finish that adds a vintage charm. Its compact size makes it perfect for rooms where a full chandelier won't fit, and the hand-blown glass ensures a unique, high-quality look.
Best for
- Bedrooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, mounted flush to the ceiling to save space
- Hallways and entryways needing soft, ambient light
- Dining areas or breakfast nooks where a low-profile light is preferred
- Living rooms with standard ceiling heights, providing a stylish focal point
- Covered porches or bathrooms due to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Areas requiring very bright task lighting - this is an ambient fixture
- Outdoor locations exposed to direct rain - damp rated, not wet rated
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is rated for a maximum of 100 watts. With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect around 1600 lumens, which is comparable to a traditional 100W incandescent - bright enough for ambient lighting in a medium-sized room, but not for task-oriented activities like reading.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, opt for a 2700K-3000K bulb. The opal glass shade diffuses light, reducing glare and creating a soft, even glow. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 7 inches in length, 7 inches in width, and 16.5 inches in height, with a canopy of 4.88 inches in diameter. It is designed for flush mounting on flat ceilings. The compact size makes it suitable for rooms with 8-foot ceilings or higher.
