The Brookhaven Cloche sconce brings a touch of industrial vintage charm to any space. Its polished nickel metal frame and cylindrical amber glass shade create a warm, inviting glow. The heavy cast backplate adds a solid, premium feel, while the hand-blown glass ensures each piece is unique. This sconce fits seamlessly into modern, transitional, and restoration-vintage interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading light or ambient accent
- Hallways and corridors, providing a warm welcome and guiding light
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console for balanced lighting
- Dining rooms, creating a cozy atmosphere on a dimmer switch
- Entryways, adding a stylish first impression
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or moisture - not wet-rated
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you prefer a shorter extension - this sconce extends 8 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
This sconce is rated for a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 60W bulb, it produces about 800 lumens - similar to a traditional 60W bulb, ideal for accent and ambient lighting. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage bulb or a dimmer.
Light color and feel
The amber glass shade filters the light to a warm, golden tone, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood. For best results, use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer.
