Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Brookhaven Cloche collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with a slate glass shade, perfect for bedrooms and hallways.
The Brookhaven Cloche sconce features a sleek, cylindrical design that fits seamlessly into most decor styles. The hand-blown slate glass shade adds a touch of artisanal charm, while the oil rubbed bronze finish and heavy cast backplate provide durability. This sconce is a versatile choice for adding ambient light to any room.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted on either side of the bed as reading lights
- Hallways and corridors, providing a warm glow along the path
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console
- Entryways, adding a welcoming accent near the door
Not ideal for
- Spaces needing bright task lighting, as the 100W incandescent bulb provides moderate light
- Very narrow hallways, as the sconce extends 8 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
With a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce produces approximately 1600 lumens - similar to a standard 100W bulb. This is suitable for accent or ambient lighting, but not as a primary light source for large rooms.
Light color and feel
The slate glass shade diffuses light, creating a soft, warm glow. The color temperature depends on the bulb you choose; for a cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 7 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and 16.75 inches high. It extends 8 inches from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide, 6.25 inches high, and 0.75 inches deep. It weighs 3.25 lbs.
