Description
A 7-inch, 1-light wall sconce from the Brookhaven Cloche Collection, finished in black antique brass with an opal glass shade - perfect for hallways and bedrooms.
The Brookhaven Cloche wall sconce combines industrial and modern contemporary styles with a restoration-vintage twist. Its heavy cast backplate and hand-blown opal glass cylinder shade create a durable, artisanal look. The black antique brass finish adds a touch of elegance to any space.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors, mounted at eye level to provide ambient lighting
- Bedrooms as a reading light beside the bed, with the adjustable arm directing light where needed
- Living rooms to highlight artwork or architectural features
- Damp locations such as bathrooms or covered patios, thanks to its damp-rated certification
Not ideal for
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the sconce extends 8 inches from the wall
- Areas where a bright, focused task light is needed, as this sconce provides more ambient illumination
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose; the fixture accepts one medium-base (E26) bulb up to 100W. With a 100W incandescent bulb, you can expect around 1600 lumens - suitable for ambient lighting. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but with an LED equivalent, you can achieve similar brightness with less energy.
Light color and feel
The opal glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm and inviting glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood. For a warm, incandescent-like glow, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 8 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 16.75 inches high, extending 8 inches from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high. It is designed for vertical wall mounting and fits well in hallways, bedrooms, and living rooms.
