Description
A 1-light wall sconce with a slate glass shade, finished in brushed brass, ideal for adding vintage-industrial charm to bedrooms and hallways.
The Brookhaven Cloche sconce features a hand-blown slate glass shade that diffuses light beautifully. The brushed brass finish and cylindrical shape give it a modern-contemporary look with a restoration-vintage feel. The 2mm heavy cast backplate adds durability.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed for a warm, ambient glow.
- Hallways, placed at eye level to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Living rooms, flanking a sofa or console for accent lighting.
- Dining rooms, used in pairs to frame a buffet.
- Entryways, adding a touch of industrial elegance.
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - rated for damp locations, not wet.
- Outdoor areas without protection from rain.
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting - this sconce is best for ambient accent.
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to 1600 lumens - bright enough for accent lighting, but not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The slate glass shade softens and diffuses the light, creating a gentle ambiance. The fixture is dimmable for adjustable brightness.
Sizing and fit
The sconce extends 8 inches from the wall and measures 7 inches wide and 16.75 inches high. It works well in rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high.
