Description
A 7-inch, one-light wall sconce in antique brass with a sapphire blue glass shade, perfect for bedrooms and hallways that need a touch of color and vintage character.
The Brookhaven Cloche sconce features a hand-blown glass shade in a rich sapphire blue, mounted on a heavy cast backplate in antique brass. The cylindrical shade diffuses light beautifully, creating a warm, atmospheric glow. Its industrial and restoration-vintage style makes it a versatile accent for transitional and modern interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as reading sconces beside the bed
- Hallways and corridors, placed at eye level for ambient light
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork
- Entryways, adding a welcoming glow
- Dining rooms, as accent lighting on a feature wall
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor areas - it is not rated for wet locations
- Spaces where you need bright task lighting - this is an accent light
How bright is it?
This sconce accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), so the brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard 60W equivalent LED bulb, you'll get about 800 lumens - enough for ambient or accent lighting, but not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The sapphire blue glass filters the light, creating a cool, colored glow that adds drama. For a warmer feel, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the intensity to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The sconce extends 8 in from the wall and measures 7 in wide and 16.75 in high. The backplate is 4.5 in wide and 6.25 in high. It mounts vertically and is hardwired. Ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and living spaces with standard 8 ft ceilings.
