Description
A single-light semi-flush mount from the Brookhaven Almond Collection, finished in brushed satin nickel with a hand-blown opal glass teardrop shade - a compact ceiling light for hallways, bedrooms, and entryways.
This fixture features a sleek metal canopy and a hand-blown opal glass shade in a teardrop shape, offering a soft, diffused glow. The 2mm heavy cast canopy adds durability. It fits seamlessly into industrial, modern, and transitional interiors.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors 4-6 ft wide, providing even ambient light
- Bedrooms 10x12 ft or larger, as a central ceiling light
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Dining nooks or breakfast areas needing a compact light source
- Covered porches or sunrooms - damp-rated for humid, covered spaces
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Rooms needing bright task lighting - this is ambient light
- Sloped ceilings - not adaptable
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a typical 100W bulb, you'll get about 1600 lumens - similar to a standard living room lamp, enough for ambient light in a medium room.
Light color and feel
The opal glass diffuses light softly, creating a warm, even glow without glare. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood. The glass is hand-blown, giving each piece subtle variations.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 6 inches in diameter and 14.5 inches in height, with a 4.88-inch canopy. It's designed for flat ceilings only (not sloped). The compact size works well in rooms with 8-foot ceilings.
