Description
A 24-inch three-light semi-flush mount for kitchens and dining rooms, finished in polished nickel with opal glass shades.
The Brookhaven Almond brings a teardrop silhouette to your ceiling, blending industrial and transitional styles. Its hand-blown opal glass shades diffuse light softly, while the polished nickel metal frame adds a sleek, reflective touch. This fixture works well in spaces with standard to slightly lower ceilings, offering ambient light without the bulk of a chandelier.
Best for
- Kitchens with islands or breakfast nooks, providing even ambient light over a 4-6 ft area
- Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, mounted 30-36 in above the table
- Hallways and entryways needing a compact, stylish light source
- Living rooms with a modern or transitional decor theme
- Bedrooms with a seating area, as a central light fixture
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, to avoid moisture on the fixture
- Sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces requiring a flush mount with less than 14 inches of clearance
How bright is it?
With three 100-watt maximum sockets, the fixture can produce up to 300 watts of incandescent light (bulbs not included). If using LED bulbs, expect around 4500 lumens total, equivalent to three 60W incandescent bulbs. This is suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms.
Light color and feel
The opal glass shades diffuse light to create a soft, even glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright and functional to warm and intimate. For best results, use a standard dimmer switch compatible with your bulb type.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 23.5 inches wide by 14.88 inches high, with a canopy of 4.88 inches. This semi-flush mount is ideal for rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ample clearance. The fixture extends 14.88 inches from the ceiling, so ensure there is at least 15 inches of space below.
