Description
A 6-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light with a hand-blown sapphire blue glass teardrop shade and oil rubbed bronze metal frame, perfect for industrial and transitional spaces.
The Brookhaven Almond adds a pop of color with its sapphire blue glass shade, hand-blown for a unique, artisanal look. The oil rubbed bronze frame and canopy provide a sturdy, industrial contrast. This fixture fits seamlessly into modern, industrial, and restoration-vintage interiors, making it a versatile choice for kitchens, entryways, and dining areas.
Best for
- Kitchens and dining areas where a compact, colorful light source adds character
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 ft ceilings, creating a welcoming first impression
- Hallways and corridors needing a stylish, space-saving light
- Industrial and transitional interiors that appreciate hand-blown glass and bronze finishes
- Breakfast nooks and home bars, providing ambient light with a vintage touch
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as the fixture is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting, as the 6-inch shade provides limited illumination
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. With a standard 100W bulb, it produces approximately 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W incandescent, providing ample ambient light for small to medium rooms. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting atmosphere, select a 2700K-3000K warm white LED bulb, which complements the sapphire blue glass and bronze finish. The glass shade creates a beautiful, colored glow when illuminated. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 6 inches in diameter and 14.5 inches in height, making it a compact choice for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs only 3.25 lbs, making it easy to install. It is not suitable for sloped ceilings.
