Description
A 6-inch teardrop-shaped wall sconce with hand-blown amber ombre glass, finished in brushed satin nickel, for bedrooms, hallways, and other damp-rated indoor spaces.
The Brookhaven Almond sconce features an elegant ombre gradient glass shade that transitions from rich amber to soft hues, creating a captivating visual flow. The brushed satin nickel frame adds a modern touch, making this fixture a striking focal point in any contemporary or transitional space.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed or above a nightstand
- Hallways and corridors, providing ambient accent lighting
- Damp-rated locations like bathrooms or covered patios, adding a stylish glow
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console
- Entryways, creating a welcoming first impression
Not ideal for
- Spaces with low ceilings where the 11-inch height may feel imposing
- Primary room lighting in large, open areas - this is an accent fixture, not a main light source
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain, despite the damp rating
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens - bright enough for accent and ambient lighting, but not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K-3000K bulb. The amber glass shade casts a warm, golden glow, perfect for creating a relaxing atmosphere. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 8 inches wide, 7.5 inches deep, and 11 inches high, with a 7.5-inch extension from the wall. It fits well in bedrooms, hallways, and bathrooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The rectangular backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high.
